The Boeing Facilities Group selected Cannon to provide on-call engineering design services for Space Launch Complexes 2 and 6 at Vandenberg Air Force Base. The scope of services includes mechanical, civil and structural engineering, surveying and planning. Projects include slope repairs, HVAC modifications, office remodels, launch table redesign, platform safety tie-offs, hydraulic drive system overhauls, traffic studies, and building trade studies.
Boeing launched the Delta IV rocket from SLC 6 on June 27, 2006.
This was the first launch of its kind from the West Coast.
