The Woodlands is a Master Planned Community located in the heart of the Central Coast in Nipomo. Within this project is Trilogy Central Coast consisting of 1120 residential units and a 31,000 square foot Community Center. In addition, there is a small business park and 45-hole Monarch Dunes Golf Course as well as a 9-hole executive course. The Community Center houses a restaurant and banquet facilities, private meeting space, full spa and athletic club, swimming pool, tennis court and parking for 148 vehicles.

Cannon provided engineering and surveying services for the development of the residential units. The scope of work included unit siting, grading and drainage, coordination with public agencies for work within the public right-of-way, construction observation services and final reviews for lot acceptance. Cannon also provided engineering services in the form of construction documents, construction observation, and construction staking for the Community Center project.
